Design Philosophy

We put a lot of thought into making sites easy to use for everyone, and the result is that our work looks great, works well, and feels great to use. With our strong background in software interface design, we try to apply those principles to web applications; why should users accept lower standards just because an application is running off a web server?

We believe passionately in web accessibility, and have evangelised accessible web design for several years. We know how to make sites accessible without impairing their visual design or functionality; something of a rare skill. It's important because not every site can have large text and big blue links; design matters and there's a fine line to tread in creating something that's both accessible and attractive.

We support the use of web standards and believe that sites built to these standards offer the best value and performance all round.
