Guidelines, process and documentation
There's a difference between understanding accessible web design, and deciding on a case-by-case basis which specific guidelines you're going to apply to a given project. Some projects require a higher standard of accessibilty than others, but there are two important things to keep in mind:
- All commercial web sites should meet a basic level of accessibility, and you need to be able to explain what this is when asked.
- The web sites that you build should follow a standard set of guidelines, especially when they're built by different teams or external freelancers.
We help you develop in-house accessibility guidelines and document your processes to ensure that all the sites you build - whether they are for in-house use or for clients - meet the same consistent set of criteria.
